PRIVACY

Privacy policy.

What data we process, why, for how long, and which rights you can exercise.

Last updated : August 22, 2026

1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected through this site is FraXus, established in Brussels, Belgium, VAT number BE 675.408.030.

For any question about this policy or your data, write to info@fraxus.be.

2. Data we process

2.1 Data you send us

When you use the contact or demo request form, we process the information you enter:

  • name;
  • company;
  • business email address;
  • phone number, if you choose to provide it;
  • project type;
  • the content of your message.

Please do not include sensitive data, or personal data belonging to third parties, in the free-text message field.

2.2 Technical data

Our servers and our host record technical data necessary for the operation and security of the site: IP address, timestamp, browser type and pages visited. These logs serve to keep the service available, detect abuse and apply the form’s rate limiting.

2.3 Audience measurement

This site is built to work without advertising trackers. No audience measurement tool requiring consent is enabled by default. If audience measurement is introduced later, it will be conditioned on your prior consent and this policy will be updated.

The only state kept in your browser is your theme preference (light or dark), stored locally. It is never transmitted to us and cannot identify you.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your requests — legal basis: your consent and/or pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
  • Security and abuse prevention (technical logs, anti-spam, rate limiting) — legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
  • Legal obligations — legal basis: compliance with our accounting and legal obligations once a commercial relationship exists.

4. Recipients

Your data is accessible to the people at FraXus who need it to handle your request. We use technical processors for hosting the site and delivering email. Those providers act on instruction and are bound by confidentiality and security commitments.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

We favour providers operating within the European Economic Area. Where a transfer outside the EEA is necessary, it is framed by a recognised mechanism — an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention periods

  • Contact requests with no commercial follow-up: kept for a maximum of 24 months from the last exchange.
  • Exchanges linked to a commercial relationship: kept for the duration of the relationship, then according to the applicable legal periods.
  • Technical logs: kept for a short period, for security purposes.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, write to info@fraxus.be. We may ask for an element allowing us to verify your identity before acting.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted transport, server-side secrets management, role-based access control, environment separation and logging. The practices applied are detailed in our Security note.

No system offers an absolute guarantee. In the event of a data breach presenting a risk to your rights, we apply the notification obligations set out in the GDPR.

9. FraXus SaaS products

When you use a FraXus SaaS product under a contract, the data your organisation processes there is handled by us as a processor, under the conditions set out in the contract and its data processing agreement. This policy covers the public website; it does not replace those contractual documents.

10. Changes

This policy may change, in particular if our tools or our processing operations change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
